Posting Guides

Posting using the Online Posting Widget

You can post scores online using a simple Online Posting Widget.

The widget tool is available at the following webpages:

Steps for posting:

  1. Log in to the widget with your GHIN number and your last name
  2. Select the date you played your round
  3. Indicate what type of round - Home, Away or Tournament
  4. Select the number of holes played - 18 holes or 9 holes
  5. Use the pulldown box to choose the State for the course
  6. Next, choose the beginning letter of the course you played
  7. Choose your course from the resulting list
  8. Choose the tee you played
  9. Finally, enter your ESC Score and click on the Post Score button

Notes:

  1. Keep in mind the course you played may have an "official" name in the USGA system. For instance, let's say you played at the Country Club of Whispering Pines in NC. Locally, the course is referred to as Whispering Pines. However, you will only find the listing in the USGA system under the "C" pulldown because of its real name: "CC of Whispering Pines". Same thing applies to a club like Stono Ferry in SC which is listed as "Links at Stono Ferry, The" so you would need to look under "L" to find this course.
  2. You must post your ESC score. ESC stands for Equitable Stroke Control. Please click here to learn more about ESC scoring.

Posting using the Posting Station at the Club

  3. Log in with any one of three methods: a) your local number; b) your GHIN number; or c) by Name Lookup. Press Enter.
  4. Choose your type of score: Home, Away, Tournament Home, or Tournament Away
  5. Choose the Course you played
  6. Choose the Tees you played
  7. Enter your ESC score
  8. Review your entries and if everything is okay press the Post Score button
